How I got started

As a teenager my life was filled with fantasy books. The more I read, the more ideas started to pop-up in my head. My first story was called the Real Deal, a teen holiday romance. My second attempt was the story of magical girl who had to stop a vicious sorceress from bringing war upon their realm. Unfortunately, the story died as I got stuck in the middle of the story. Fast forward about 10 years and I started getting glimpses of the story again. Whenever I travelled to exotic destinations the characters spoke to me.
Last year, I finally decided to do something about it. I ordered the writer's Snowflake software and began fleshing out the story. A new improved version, one that couldn't wait to be told. Instead of editing at every turn, I told myself, keep writing. Keep writing until you get your first draft. I'm proud to say I've finished my first novel and cannot wait to share it with the world.
